Golfers splash out to help baby unit
The Special Care Baby Unit at Eastbourne District General Hospital received a kind donation from local golfers.

Eastbourne Park Golf Club raised £400 for the unit thanks to novel fine system that helped players improve their game as well as help a good cause. Players donated 20p every time they played a ball into a water hazard in a club competition.
A cheque was presented to the unit by former captain Duncan McCarthy, who said: “We choose a different local cause to help every year and we are delighted to be able to help such as good cause.”
