Physiotherapists raise super amount for Conquest Friends
The trust’s physiotherapists donated a super amount of money to the Friends of Conquest Hospital.
Members of the Trust's physiotherapy departments completed a sponsored walk dressed as either a superhero or super villain and raised £1,000 for the Friends of Conquest thanks to the fundraising efforts of the participants and the generosity of trust staff and the local community.

They walked the 17.8 miles between Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne District General Hospital, via Bexhill seafront in aid of the Friends charities who help the hospitals.
Lloyd Barker, Principal Physiotherapist for Acute Services, said: “Over the years the Friends have been extremely supportive to the physiotherapy departments with a number of generous donations. Through the commitment and dedication of their members, the Friends have often provided us with the means to significantly advance the quality of rehabilitation for the residents and visitors of East Sussex.”
