Profile
Mr Underhill graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1980. He commenced registrar training for accident and emergency medicine and trauma surgery in 1986 at Poole general hospital and went on to continue his training at the University Hospital, Nottingham until 1990, where he was also an honorary lecturer in emergency medicine for the University of Nottingham.
Mr Underhill was appointed as a consultant for Accident and Emergency medicine in Hastings in November 1990 and is accredited to the Accident and Emergency Medicine JCHMT at the Royal College of Physicians in May 1991.
As well as fulfilling the role of consultant emergency doctor, Mr Underhill has a specialist interest in hand surgery and the management of hand injuries.
